Reds we haven’t a clue what the LSS is working on but I’d say that NO the actual devices/uses will not be the same. However certain twists learned during the process of creating the devices/uses may be able to be used in other areas and because we have not taken any money from the LSS we are not beholden to them with what we learn on our side. IMO the NDA’s refer to not disclosing anything that we learn about what they are working on, not on what we learn with our material. So I’ll just make something up, we learn that Perk with a solvent of X, solubility at 22.3%, spun for 54 seconds, poled for 1 minute at 123c for 1 minute with 125volts produces an material with an R33 of 150 and works best when switched with 1.5 volts blah, blah, blah. Those that went to the lab at the SHM (if they were paying attention) saw the recipes for “todays” batches on stickys under the hood.
So Yes and No, IMO our frustrations,,,,, what we are seeing play out is a material that has a completely different set of rules, hence the frustration with the various universities.

Guys I haven’t a clue when we will see anything but if anyone doesn’t think that one day, from out of the blue, all of the sudden this is going to take off IMO is mistaken because they WILL get there, they know how it reacts but apparently are still learning why. I’m buying in drips and drabs a few thousand here and a few thousand there, Keeping the Faith. Hey if I’m wrong I’m wrong, oh well, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
