The Baltia aircraft was flown as Delta Airlines aircraft for some time after the Delta/NWA merger. In fact, there were Delta Airlines safety briefing cards still in the seats of Baltia's aircraft six months ago - I saw them.

Yes, they had been NWA aircraft prior to the merger - these two aircraft are in good condition, and will serve Baltia well. They were sold to Kalitta shortly after being mothballed a few years ago - and Connie found them to be in good enough condition to continue as passenger aircraft, instead of cutting a door & modifying them into freighters.

Baltia's aircraft is being prepared at this time to begin service soon . . . . in a much more comfortable configuration than the Delta passengers ever enjoyed.
