Crow, your ignorance of parenteral potency issues becomes more evident with every question you publish. Just 'google' what you just asked and it will save you bringing focus where your misinformed beliefs are rooted.

What if a manufacturer of pharmaceutical products has a CFO (financial money person) look at some sort of loss or minimization of profits when some product is no longer used because assumption of potency changes. With the incredible DRUG SHORTAGE issues going on and visible in the news, there are impacts and high interest regarding potency and shelf life etc. There are also..... well, I wont go further.

I will partially answer your question at the bottom with just ONE example.

Now Crow3, I just KNOW you are NOT trying to mislead people. You ask...

....what event would trigger questioning a drip bag and make a potency test desirable or required?

I tell you, this is a significant issue, and financial impacts and potential increase in profits are in the balance. Now, here is just one thing in response...

Studies7–10 have questioned the potency of injectable oxytocics in tropical climates. Financial constraints may also prevent both their routine use and proper storage.
