No, this was a set up from the start. JS got used by a scam artist. BTW the idea of a cambered tire will never make money. If it was going to one of the big tire manufacturers would have bought it years ago. If you really do your research you will find that the idea was tried years before JS and discarded. If it's to good to be true, it's not!
