For a short post it tells me a whole lot about where we are at with this deal.

The PPA is not signed, so I can scratch that theory off list, but the PPA is ready to be signed at a "moment's notice". This confirms for me that as stated before the contract is completely ready to be signed and this is literally down to someone simply picking up a pen and scribbling a name on the lines with an X next to them.

The "moment's notice" also tells me that this could be anytime. Buyer comes in Monday morning and says oh yeah I forgot to sign these on Friday...scribble, scribble...done! Of course, not quite like that, but referring more to how easily this deal is consummated at this point.

I'm assuming that the CEO is in the states, but I'm not sure how I feel about that or what the benefit is of this. He could also currently be in CR and just made the statement as a way of saying if I leave and the buyer decides to sign while I'm gone there will be no delays for my travel time...

I'm wondering where he met with the GE folks and if this meeting was possibly the reason for staying in the states (if that is the case).

All in all, what I took from this post is that it is literally right there and ready to go! I feel strongly that this is the week. Of course, I have no clue what the buyer is thinking or what might be the hold up on their end, but it seems like all t's are crossed and i's dotted, now it's just time to put pen to paper...

I'm interested to hear what everyone else thinks on this...What say you?
