Trin is the ratio between up stocks and down stocks. The lower the number, the more "ups" or buying that is going on. The higher the number the more the selling (down stocks) in the market. Anything above .90 is conservatively the beginnings of a bearish indicator while anything really below 1.00 is sort of a bullish indicator.
