Hi Sami ,i'm replying to this old post from may 2012 because of the most recent news. Remember this conversation and wondering if the wording in the latest news strikes you the same.This would be a unique profitable product if it's one device switching back and forth from Globalstar and iridium networks.Gtc would be able to offer a product that would operate in Iridiums worldwide footprint but Gtc would finally start using the free esns when the device is operated in the globalstar footprint. The wording below sounds this way to me.

======================================
from the news

GTC will provide specialized satellite tracking hardware operating on the Iridium and Globalstar networks, together with airtime and access to its proprietary mapping portal, GTCTrack, which enables the tracking devices to be visually located and monitored by customers in near real-time from a PC or mobile device.

=======================================
from your older post

So, there are separate modems for each satellite system .. that you can create your own special devices to operate within .. BUT I’m not sure if one modem can be modified to connect / switch between other / different satellite systems? Maybe?? Maybe our proprietary tracking devices do or our proprietary web based mapping interface can work with all networks???
