How effective do you guys think the control will be implemented that once Vascepa is approved for Anchor such that Lovaza will not be prescribed off label for Anchor? How does this function happen in Insurance companies? Do they automatically stop? is it system based? Or will someone (a rep) have to go and manually and / or officially inform the Insurer / pharmacy / doctor that you cannot prescribe Lovaza anymore. I am just trying to understand the process. There are 2 aspects unclear to me.

a) If am an Anchor patient will I need to be on statins to be prescribed Vascepa? If thats the case then its terrible. What if I dont have and LDL issue? I just need to bring my TGs down.

and b) A patient just got diagnosed with high TGs (200+). At what point (once Anchor is approved) will the change from Lovaza to Vascepa happen? Will it be at time when doctor is writing the prescription (will he go in the system and check) or will he go to the pharmacy with the Lovaza prescription and the pharmacist will deny Lovaza and give him Vascepa based on some system check?
