Well, I still think the main reason DELL hasn't gone with AMD is that AMD couldn't guarantee to supply the number of parts needed.

AMD would need a home run with 65nm to solve this problem. Can it happen? Sure. Will it happen? Probably not. Not the way one would want to bet, anyhow.
