A friend of mines son went thru it about 8 years ago. There was one speed,if you didn't cut it,out the door you went..He told me less than 50% make it thru the first school in Ft Lauderdale,the second school in Virginia Beach ,less than 25% pass....He has 2 more years then he is getting out,he would like to stay in,but it's not worth it. They have cut the % of benefits to much. He will do better in the private sector,there is a huge need for what he can do at civilian nuclear plants,and the pay, and benefits are far superior.
