I will put this on my list of things to watch tonight. As you know, Court, this has been my pet peave about what has happened to public education. The dumbing down of our school curricula is simply inexcusable, and stems from the screening out of those who don't have "the right mind-set" in our teacher education schools. Anyone who doesn't believe in "feel good" education is steered toward another field. Read George Will's article in this week's Newsweek. Here it is, and from my experience, he is right on spot.
