it is nice to have an offset. One should never be investing in the market more than just a small percent of FCF from your other investments. Why take such a risk?? In Panama there are many opportunities in land, hotels, farming, ranching, oil, fishing, etc. If one has no real money better to just own a little gift shop, or work at a job somewhere. As they say...investing is for investors, not people trying to just make some quick killing. Anyway that is just my opinion. Wealth is to be preserved and that comes only with diversification.
Even the best of stocks rise and fall through cycles and macro events. That is why you hire a good financial analyst, and pay him well, if you do not have the time or ability necessary, to ride the swells and valleys. Otherwise I guess mutual funds are more appropriate for the little fellows. In our opinion PTQ is the place to be right now, and that is where we have placed substantial investment money. No worries here....let's see what next week tells us about our growth.
