Thanks for posting the graph.

My post you responded to was just to clarify that we were not now trading at "all time lows", but rather 10 times what those were for several years.

The large drops in the share price over the past few years came generally due to three things in Panama and one in the sector that were out of the control of the company. Those issues have been well documented and I am not going to waste time posting about them again.

Some investors have done very, very well with this stock by using the DCA method. If you are not familiar, then it is easily researched.

In addition when the stock has retreated there have been excellent opportunities to capture large tax losses to offset other income by selling the few (relatively)shares that we bought during the albeit brief upsurge in the stock price.

Long term investment is about creating wealth by investing in companies that have great growth potential and a proven record of fundamental growth. There are large long time investors that believe Petaquilla meets that criteria perfectly. Steady growth, great reserves, stable environments, and excellent management. All in our opinions and certainly not shared by some here.

Anyone can do the analysis and see what the result is from investing just $1,000/month since the company went public. At the same time selling off those few shares that were purchased at very high levels for tax loss during the slow times. Putting in more money at the obvious bottoms has made the return even better. We have grown our investment as the company has grown and the future will be excellent, we believe. Some methods work better than others.

The one we have chosen for this company has stood the test of time and rewarded us handsomely. If you doubt that just do the analysis outlined herein above. It certainly isn't rocket science to just follow the manner outlined in the above paragraph. We believe the next ten years will be even better. Good Luck in using whatever method you choose to follow for your strategy. One either fishes or cuts bait. Doing nothing is the worse choice of all IMO.
