What to me is interesting is the following:
If I can build a TPM desktop in my house, how many "white box" and home built tpm 'd computers will be built, sold, activated.
The mobo's are available to the general public now and I guess my biggest question is: If the Embassy Trust Suite software comes with the retail box motherboard, I suppose Wave gets some money from Intel????
Also, is this the same software one gets when upgrading at Dell?

As to the machine specs, I could have added a dual core for $100.00 and another gig of memory for $80.00 and that was before I bought it at my discounts.
Throw in a 17 inch 700:1 contrast ratio LCD flat panel monitor for $200.00 and we are cooking!

A great system for under $1300. all off the shelf parts available to John Q. Public...
