I think that it was Joe Miller that I was talking to last year at the SHM that said the timing of what Lightwave has is perfect. If you remember that is also when they decided to move from selling Perk to pushing the market with devices. He said something to the effect that even IF they had perfected it earlier the market place wasn’t yet ready for it, a year prior to that Smith said that the CMOS factories still needed to see and ROI before the next step and both agreed that in cleaning it up now our timing couldn’t be better. So the device thing was 13 months ago, not sure if we are ahead of, on, or behind the curve but as the science advances and investors start to get it this market will advance at an incredible pace. I too wish that they could make a next generation device 1,000 times faster, 10 times smaller, consuming 60% less power and at half the price and do it on a shoestring budget and convince the world in a few months to halt production and change everythng, but that is a tall order.

IMO we will see 2 different areas of mass growth in the near future, a bubble if you would, of course one is in the optical realm and that I’M SURE we will get caught up in, but IMO what will save the U.S. once again and put us back on top will be fracking, both oil and gas. Twice a day I see those trains from Alberat Canada traveling 3,000 miles across land to reach a refinery here on the east coast, it is like watching Rockefeller and Carnegie the battle of the pipe line Vs. the Railroad all over again.

Hanging in there (I know it is hard for) but sorry I rather enjoy going through life with a positive attitude while others enjoy complaining about everything in their rotten life, Caers correct me if I use this phrase the wrong way “C'est la vie”.

Is this weather perfect or what? Looks like one more week of wearing shorts then back to long pants, I guess I could start to complain about that, yeh that would make me feel better, wouldn't change anything but at least I could whine a little.

So are we anywhere near Westinghouse or Thomas Edison?
