Peker said it would take Apple 3-5 years to commercialize. Apple did the Master Transaction agreement in August 2010. Apple had previously used LQMT in the iPhone 3G SIM card removal tool.

Honestly, who knows how far Apple has come. What I do know is that in May of 2012, Peker stated 3-5 years. Two months later, Apple published the patent for 9 foot wide sheets of Liquidmetal. Who knows how close they may be???
