Great questions...

Biggest difference. The Pirelli tires are "square". Let's say that a tire has an 18 inch interior diameter. The interior diameter being where the tire rides on the rim. That is the same on both a Pirelli Cinturauto and a Camber Tire.

The difference is on the outside diameter of the inner and outer wall of the tire. On a Camber Tire, depending on the degree of desired camber, (comes in several degrees) the outside diameter of the outer wall of the tire is slightly larger than the inside diameter of the inner wall of the tire. On a Pirelli and any other tire. the outside diameter on the inner and outer wall is identical. Simple, but amazing.

The integral steering thing is a whole different topic from the shape of the tires. Integral steering has been a part of the large trucking industry (as clunky as the technology might be) for quite some time. It's interesting that they are implementing that in an Audi, but with Camber Tires they will probably gain more than they ever would with integral steering. We'll have to wait for testing...
