It will all come down to margins. Whichever alloy is cost effective in lowering overall manufacturing costs related to the casing will be used if any at all. It won't happen on the iPhone 5S, but maybe next year on the iPhone 6. This is what I'm hoping for.

It has to do with building a premium product with properties that can't be copied WHILE increasing margins.
