Articles are saying the combination of the iPhone 5C being offered on China Mobile and NTT Docomo in Japan will be a detonator that destroys the competition in emerging international markets. Some speculate that Apple will almost overnight command 25% of the Chinese cellular phone market.

I wonder if after this happens, Apple will want to redefine high end with Liquidmetal rebranding the premium Apple line? I also wonder how inexpensive Liquidmetal would be if a factory were to produce 6,000 kilometers of the material per year at a width of three meters. I would assume that kind of manufacturing capacity would make it start falling in cost and make it more "commercially" appealing.
