This whole discussion on patents is probably moot. In my opinion what will determine Wave's success is knowledge of the business, relationships etc. A year ago or so Mercedes was running ads about having 10,000 patents. If they had zero patents would they be a successful auto manufacturer today?
My guess -- yes.
