Gamco, One would think that this sale to Microsoft was in the works for some time (year+).

I hope that the Deleware clock was frozen when NOKIA / IDC took this to the ITC.

Yes, the only thing that DE can do is assess liability for infringement prior to the date everything transfers to Microsoft.

Lets also hope that somehow InterDigital can freeze some of Nokia's assets or require them to post some bond for past royalties, before the transfer to MSFT.

IDC will have to pursue Microsoft the day the business transfers, to keep the heat on for a license from MSFT.

At least NOKIA has not filed for bankruptcy protection which may have blocked IDC from ever recooping past royalties.
