It looks like they have nothing and they will try to stall as long as possible before it's official they were lying all this time and the $hit really hits the fan. Only conclusion that fits at this stage, sadly.

"this stage" that you are talking about started in 2011 at the Meet & Greet.

Remember what Robert said at the Meet & Greet. Something like;
