I am seriously considering pulling the trigger on one of these units, so I just called Phototron to inquire about the recent price drop. The girl was very nice, although I dont remember her name.

She indicated this was some sort of marketing promotion and thought that it may be for a limited time only. She said she wasnt really sure, though. They didnt give the staff many details.

Then I asked if they had been selling alot of them and she said they had been...around 12 a week.

Even if you figured 12 a week of the basic model at the $300 price tag, that's still $187,200 in revenue just in phototrons.

I don't know what the expectation of revenue is from the phototron, but that sounds decent to me. The actual number is likely much higher, since the price was just lowered and I'm sure some are buying the more costly models.
