That is my main problem with even talking about spiber.

Put yourself in the CEO chair and you can do what spiber claims. Wouldnt you shout it to the world and prove it could be done?

That is the whole purpose of a peer review really. The proof you need to shout it has to come from a reputable 3rd party.

Spibers claims are no different to amsilks claims no matter what the process is that is being used.
If you got it you flaunt it.

They refuse to give their results and only talk about how strong spider silk is and in the next sentence they say Spiber silk and you believe that the spiber silk is the silk they are saying is so strong.

It is a great marketing ploy but it needs to be backed up with more than a dress and some guy saying he can do something.
