I was talking to Z at the SHM about the things that we find out there on the net, he said that yes there are some very interesting things out there but doing them in the lab and on the street are two completely different things. He said that stability is an issue with many of the technologies, they get X result on day 1, Y on day 2 and on day 3 nothing. I’d say that the Achilles heel with this technology is that it is liquid; water boils at 100c so IMO this would turn into a gas at 250c, not sure at what temperature it would freeze. Remember what Ol Dr. Goetz did was to take something that was very stable and made it EO active. I still appears that most of the research going on (to me anyhow) looks like they are taking something that is EO active and trying to figure out how to stabilize it. As for those calling for White Papers I’m not sure that we will ever see them unless you have good reason and are willing to sign an NDA, IMO there is good reason for it, proly has something to do with Indigo being held as a trade secret (like Gore-Tex) and not patented because then you’d have to tell all. They are on to something here and it sucks but I’m 99.9% certain that it is for our good. In the end these guys are about creating a product, not academia 'flash in the pan' publicity, IMO these ol birds are here not so much even for money (because they’ve got that already) but to create a legacy.
