After two years of rumours and excitement, Paul McCartney is finally in Regina.

The former Beatles legend arrived in the Queen City on Tuesday night.

For many people in Saskatchewan, this will be their first time seeing McCartney perform live on stage. But for Regina's Laurie Ross, it's an experience that never gets old.

A life-long fan, Ross said she's seen Sir Paul play 41 times.

"I know that number sounds kind of scary, but it's been over 37 years.," Ross said. "So that's how I justify it. And back in the day the concerts were a lot cheaper."

While it would be hard to find a song Ross hasn't heard live, she's hoping to hear her favourite McCartney song, 'Band on the Run'.

"I didn't go the normal route," she said. "Everybody was a Beatles fan until about '68. Then they got onto other things and I just kind of kept going."

If you don't have a ticket yet, David Ash with Dash Tours said it's not too late to get a good seat for a good price.

"They're out there at less than face value now," Ash said. "There's just too many tickets that have gone unsold through the secondary market to maintain the face value of the tickets."

Paul McCartney plays at Mosaic Stadium in Regina on Wednesday night. Doors open at 6 p.m. CST and McCartney is expected to take the stage at 8 p.m. CST.
