I agree with your interpretation of the current conditions.

You might not want to hear this but Steipp owes nothing to LQMT shareholders. In fact, we are currently 40 million more valuable since Steipp took CEO position in August 2010. He can dilute to 500 million shares for all I care as long as we keep the lights on long enough to see an apple product using lqmt in the market. Then, everything will fall into place.
