prevention of ischemia via angiogenesis would be great particularly in the reduce-it study where it would be a big help against preventing cv issues - a myocardial infarction can occur where you have cloggings in the coronary arteries which thereby prevent oxygen getting to the myocardium cells causing cell death > MI

However angiogenesis is one of the main methods by which cancerous cells proliferate - tumorous cells releaves VegF stimulating angiogenesis allowing oxygen for proliferation

so.....ye positive + negative i guess
