I'm not sure if you have read any of the GOT novels but if you had you would see that the writers are basically cutting and pasting from his book to make the show. So to all the give credit to the writers and producers for taking someone elses work and putting it on film is kind of dumb. Secondly GRRM has written several of the episodes. The writers havent came up with one origional idea for that show that GRRM didn't write. In fact name a writer on the show. You can't because GRRM gets all the credit as he should. I'm sure the writers of Twilight and Harry Potter would also appreciate your idea on their success. Try not to let your hate for Mark blind you to the genius that has went into the GOT series of books. I'm not saying ST will be the next Harry Potter but im sure it closer to being one than what you or I have ever penned. Try reading ST before you offer an opinion it is good. What Mark does with it is the question.
