I think that the smart play for the conference call would be this. Assuming you have 4k in this already, and you have made money. If you have cash on the side, the same amount or a little more, if you transfer that money tomorrow it will be ready to trade on tuesday or wenesday. Sell all your shares on Monday or tuesday before the CC if your not worried about the tax rate and bank that profit. Then if the CC is good you have fresh powder for Wednesday morning. If the CC is bad then you are out with your profit and have fresh powder to buy at the bottom. It seems to me to be the best way to play this based off of past CC. The goal of the stock market is to make money. That doesnt happen if you dont sell the stock. I want more shares the only way to do this is to take all my profit now and bet that it will drop after the conference call. Its a gamble, but a wise investor once said pigs get fat and hogs get slaugthered, especially in the stinky pinkies.
