Yes, that is a good observation that aluminum may not be compatible with a ceramic logo... this reminded me right away of the Omega watch which uses liquidmetal:

Disclaimer: I understand any Apple CE is not bringing any royalties to LM. I do understand that Apple is overblown, and that there are many other exciting possible contracts. This being said, Apple utilizing the material is basically a world wide advertisement to hundred millions.
