I work in commercial aviation [engineering]. Pretty much all control systems electrical and mechanical including cockpit are segregated. Most modern aircraft employ at least three back up systems totally seperate from the other to control hydraulics and electronics during flight. There is no safer form of travel!
The cockpit, avionics bay, cargo holds and cabin are all pressurised and share the same conditioned air during flight.
Next to a submarine an aircraft cabin would be next for sealability.
Testing would be required for sure prior to Aseptisure application to CASA and FAA regs but not out of reach.
With aircraft shut down and all recirc fans off only cabin and galleys would recieve A S treatment.
