I haven't the knowledge of commercial aviation or aircraft to provide specific information or answer most questions. Thus, I won't speak out of school or attempt to baffle you with B.S.

My guess is with the hundreds of openings in the passenger cabin for doors, windows, lights, call buttons, O2 mask compartments, ear phone connections, plumbing, PA system, etc. there may be a concern of the gas getting into the area between the cabin and the metal fuselage. This is the area that I suspect contains electrical, hydraulic, environmental, structural and other components. The majority of computers, radios, etc are most likely in, in front of and under the flight deck. Likewise, the flight deck has hundreds of openings for instruments, lights, switchs, etc, etc.

I am not familiar with the newer aircraft and what is in the cabin part of the fuselage and what is in the cargo/baggage compartment and how they are separated. However, I don't believe they are environmentally distinct or individually pressurized.

That said, the seals around the myriad of small openings in the cabin may be sufficient to allay some (probably not all) of the concerns I expressed and thus shorten the testing and approval. It will, in my opinion (or guess), be far more extensive than any of the hospital or other testing of A'Sure. It may also have to be certified for use on each aircraft type.

There are a lot of potential markets for A'Sure. Commercial aviation is one potential market. As MZEI racks, stacks and prioritizes, I believe hospitals, Homeland Security, military (biological defense), hotels/motels (bed bugs)and the food processing and restaurant industries will and should be higher targeted market priorities than commercial aviation. Once the product gains acceptance in these other areas, I can forsee MZEI partnering with a major airline or aircraft manufacturer to test and certify the process.

I hope my rambling made at least some sense.
