Thanks for the insight. I think I am going to try Quicken. (I got an H&R Block freebie CD in the mail right before Xmas.) I have been using Quicken for my checkbook, etc. (for a couple of years) but haven't done my taxes in a number of years. I got into some rental properties (there's a book waiting to written somewhere in there) and due to all of the specifics such as repairs, depreciation, etc. I had someone else do them for me. I just felt more comfortable that way. This year, since I got rid of my last one, I think I might take the plunge in doing them myself.
