yes i AM so glad that its done.Being in grocery retail you never really get to enjoy the holiday...an example...
Im getting ready to close the store.Its 4:55 p.m. and i got three cashiers,one at the service counter and two on the main floor,and its still packed.I got 5 to 10 customers in each line so in order to get everyone out so my employees can get on home to enjoy christmas i decide to go ahead and lock up my doors.
Well wouldnt <<<you know it>>5 MINUTES before im suppose to close i have this old guy show up and its one of these guys who has a ear ring in his ear and a gut hanging over his walmart dungerie jeans and he has thinning white hair but its real long in the back.His got his wife with him who looks like she has had to put up with his crap for so long that its beginning to physically take its toll on her outward appearance.
Okay...this moron comes to the door and starts banging on the glass so i peak out the other door and say "im sorry we are closed." Immediatly he starts talking real loud that i need to change my sign if im closing at 4:55p.m and i say well i got alot of people to get out of the store and i just cant let anymore in because i dont want to keep my employees here till 6:oop.m so you all know what happens next this guy starts going into a tirade about how if the sign says 5 o clock then i should let him in cause its only 4:56 now and IT SAYS 5:00!!!So i have to let this guy in and he is so arrogant that i want to freaking KILL him and so thats how the last of my day ended up before christmas eve.Suffice to day i dont really enjoy the holidays like i should or could but thats the profession i chose or rather in chose me..so ..YET another reason i want HISC to go to a buck and someday $5.00 and someday $10.00 i want to be able express to indiviuals like this how i really feel about them at least verbally.
A note for the wise if you sit at home for 8 hours and 55 minutes and then decide to come to the store 5 MINUTES before its closing there is a strong possibility that the store MIGHT close a little earlier on a HOLIDAY.

As for me i use quicken.I thought about using hrblock tax but then i remembered how they screwed up my taxes one year and then when i started trading stocks my tax person let me know that she would be charging me an additional 100.00 per form to file so i was like well....its time for me to learn how to do my own taxes and since 1999 thats what i have done.Quicken is really good and the deluxe version is perfect if you trade alot and i go back and list each trade so its got some nice features.Plus if you are methodical with your records you can download them from your computer into quicken.Very nice.I have never had any problems with it.No bugs or quirks.
