Yep why do you think this is getting such a buzz in Washington now after 5 years? They see the cash cow going away if they just let them pay back and end c-ship. They for some reason think they can maintain those type profits but in the end they will destroy the housing market.

BTW to everyone the derivatives are what caused all this and that was ok'd by the same people blaming Fannie and Freddie and the banks. It also caused the 1907 market crash.

You trust our Government to do what is right? Money talks and if they think they can profit bigtime from this without destroying campaign contributions from Big money entities they will fight tooth and nail to make it happen.

I sure hope they actually do the right thing this time I doubt it though.
