More dollars worth of Dawson Creek building permits were issued in the first quarter of 2013 than in Fort St. John, according to recently released information by B.C. Stats.
Approximately $9.3 million worth of total building permits were issued during that time period in Dawson Creek, while only $7.7 million worth was issued in Fort St. John, the statistics say.
For Dawson Creek, this represents about 68 per cent growth in the dollars of permits than were issued during a similar time period in 2012, and 30 per cent less in the dollars of permits than were issued during the same time period in Fort St. John.
