Based on what I can figure out(?), Federal Courts can impose and collect fines, awards, and penalties under something called a "levy" order. Guessing that means they have authority to reach into one firm's bank accounts and move funds to some other set of accounts. Be great to see the NY federal court put a "Bam!, gotcha. Go ahead and appeal all you want" move on the Nokia bully.

My question was about how the court could/would/should(?) go about turning the ICC's "schedule of rates" award ruling into some specific levy amount. Somebody is gonna have to crank a calculator with plenty of digits on Nokia's sales figures before the total tab can be added up.

BTW - rmarchma would be my first choice to do that work as well!
