These are big, heavy legacy systems. If not the BiB then something like the BiB will replace them in the next technology equipping cycle and will certainly include MWIR and LWIR capabilities. FLIR of course is a brand name. There was a photo of the BiB ISR payload on the WSGI Facebook page for a while but it has been taken down. While it was up it was possible to identify the manufacturer. I can't recall if I stated it at the time, but if I did, it will be in an old post of mine. If not, I no longer can say since it is no longer public information. But it is a rugged, capable little system IMO. As you would expect. Recently I have been learning about NDVI sensing, Nil. You should look it up--it holds great promise for feeding the world. Visible red and near infrared multi-spectral. Very fascinating. No, FLIR is not out of our league IMO. I can't recall but they may supply the cores for the thermal sensor on the BiB turret--there are multiple manufacturers for these types of cores of course. Interesting days, Nil. Warm regards, IJO
