I was incorrect about the date of the removal of the "D" from the ticker. It did happen today.

But anywho,

The "D" does stand for "delist," and occurred due to the split and it is part of the process when something of significance occurs to a stock.

The "D" doesn't mean it's dead. It is added only during the process to alert of a split or reverse split.
