I wholeheartedly agree with you about quantitative easing. QE3 ie: QE infinity, will most likely not run as long as most people thought. Isn't that the reason precious metal prices haven't gone up? I was running under the assumption that the lowered value of the dollar, and the increase in price of precious metals went hand in hand. Since the dollar is still fairly strong precious metal prices haven't jumped yet. With that being said I am glad that the Feds manipulated lending rates. It may have produced another bubble, but at least it gives people the illusion that our economy is recovering. Ignorance is bliss!
