Actually, It was the SGCP shareholders that External Influences screwed the worst. Doug, John, and the People of Sierra Leone were just "collateral damage" in the assault on the company.

The way I see it, External Influences cost SGCP and shareholders around 2 billion shares. If it weren't for External Influences, we most likely never would have even heard of Edward Bronson/E-Lionheart Associates/Fairhills Capital."

Blaming John for some unspecified "underhanded business practices" is sadly typical of the External Influence mentality. When in doubt, ... make something up LoL!

As I said in post # 72417: ... "for myself, If I personally had participated in systematic, repetitious, and ongoing Value Destruction against the SGCP shareholders and share structure, I would probably look for some sort of a scapegoat too."

In that situation, I just wouldn't have the balls to admit to my own reprehensible behavior. I'd probably blame it all on Doug or John too. That is much easier than saying I deliberately and for no good reason, screwed all those people over, just for the fun of it.

As it happens I was in weekly contact with John in the period up to his leaving SGCP, and happen to know quite a bit about the reality of what happened. It in fact WAS a coincidence that he left when he did, but only because he hadn't received a pay check for 4 years and needed health insurance (among other things) for his family.

Don't forget, it wasn't CEO Evans that poisoned the investment pool with over 14,000 negative posts, and it wasn't John either. We had a pretty cool little company before it got trashed.
