Those were the days for sure, striper. Personally, I think ALRY was sort of an IHUB causality. ALRY was a tiny company in Rural Kansas. I don't think they were prepared for the immediate expectations and swarming tactics of today's message board based investors. They'd probably have been better off without an IHUB board.

They could and did satisfy private investors (in individual leases) better, than they could meet the hyperbolic expectations of public investment at that time. I doubt CEO Sanford expected dozens of (IHUB) calls per day, and I also doubt he understood how easily a penny stock could be manipulated by individuals that knew how.

That happened to a lot of the penny stock oil companies in those days. Not many from that era still around.
