What matters in the 1st line trial is how Bavi does in comparison to the control arm. An HR of .75 or so, an MOS improvement of 3-4 months. Those would be clear wins regardless of how one wants to compare to Aviston + whatever, and whatever the absolute numbers are.

The P value will almost certainly not be stat sig at this size (and technically this would not matter anyway with the primary analysis not being stat sig). This really should be a minor point here.

If the numbers do come in well, you can bet the counter will be "how can you trust them".

Personally I think management has kind of telegraphed that the data is not good. But it will speak for itself in a few weeks, so not much point in discussing that now.
