I have hesitated bringing the subject of a potential BMGF grant to the attention of this board in a public, rather than private, manner before. By way of introduction, I have personally known a good friend since 1990, now a high placed "contact person" who has been with BMGF for the past 10-15 years or so. I personally emailed that person in the early-mid 2000s, bringing that person's attention to PPHM and its then-younger, less mature platform technology. I received no response, and I did not expect any, for reasons educated people here can understand. Nor have I emailed friend since that time re PPHM.

About an hour ago, I sent a PM to biopharm in response to the subject of a foundation grant he initiated today. Below is that PM, and my reasons in part why I think it is an idea worth pursuing[ see http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=88756987:

>>>I see you also are beginning to like my idea of grant from likes of BMGF where I have a very high up contact. I broached the plan to PL at ASM, he said he liked the idea, I gave him my card if he wanted an intro to the person I know, he learned from me who that person is and told me PPHM has never contacted BMGF, and I have not heard from PL since. I had no chance to talk w/SK. Bungler would travel w/me to meeting place to see what deal could be facilitated by us at no charge. Legality of such a grant is unknown to us, as is whether BMGF has ever made a grant to a for-profit enterprise. Before BMGF, my contact spent several years negotiating settlements of $$$$$ class-action law suits that had been brought against the big pharma client represented by contact. Good lawyer now surrounded by good scientists at BMGF, and with lots of negotiating experience. PPHM's data would be provided to BMGF under suitable confidentiality agreement for its scientists to pore over to help determine interest, if any of course, for PPHM's platform technology in oncology, virology, etc.

The advantage of a grant of several scores[hundreds?] millions $$ is, IMO, it would put added pressure on big Pharma or biotech to come to table sooner with larger bucks, for fear PPHM just might become capable of going it alone and big pharma/biotech would lose out. Good will would ensue to BMGF[a potential win/win], and BMGF could take an equity position, potentially recovering entire or multiples of original grant $$$. BMGF is a neutral source of money, and obviates calculating which partner[s] for PPHM to choose from, a process always fraught with difficulty. BMGF's forte is financing, not marketing, IMO. You and I differ there, perhaps.

All of above I discussed with PL last October. Maybe he forgot?
Meantime we wait. Perhaps I should send above to PL again?<<<
