You seem a little confused...Re your sttement below..

COX and LOX refer to cell membrane receptors which interact with both AA and EPA..They are not blockers...They actually function to release PGs, Thromboxanes, and other active eicosanoids depending on the receptor. Aspirin and other NSAID act on these receptors to prevent the actions of AA or EPA..ie they are the blockers..
