Will...

EPA has more action than just inhibiting D5D...(actually it just slows the enzyme down)...The most important action is that EPA competes with AA for COX and LOX receptors...When AA interacts with these receptors the action is more pro inflammatory..EPA interacts and produces less inflammatory eicosanoids, and also produces "good eicosanoids" the raise Cyclic AMP, improve mood etc..
