I saw that article as well but Elan has it's hands full at present with 2 other small acquisitions. They're seeking 48% of NewBridge Pharma ($40M) in a friendly minority interest acquisition and a 100% of AOP Orphan Pharma ($263M). A quick BBerg check indicates that they only have $556M in cash and ~$1.4B in total current assets, well under the $3-4B I'd expect for AMRN.
