if your looking at it from an analytical point of view there has been a drop albeit not a huge one, however dont forget that its not only a drs decision to come off of a drug, in a pharmaceutical environment healthcare professionals are advised to act in what we call concordance with a patient, decisions are mutual unless money becomes a huge issue (say if a branded item becomes generic and its the same drug a dr wont be required to inform the patient they are giving them the generic). Therefore if a patient is working well on lovaza particularly elderly patients then the dr would first have to convince them of the benefits of vascepa before switching
