Generally I am building utilities, silver/gold/platinum/palladium, and looking at shippers but I need to clear out some trades and park in the right ones.

Long term a strong dollar and cheap metals favors small and diverse investments in developmental stage miners. The strong dollar favors the investment into startup costs and the cheap metals make them a near term bargain.

Long term, the dollar may weaken and the metals will grow in value, so when they reach production, they will appreciate in price nicely. Of course some will fail. Early stage production and Juniors have a less extreme case of this effect.

This is why Soros is going hard into miners now.
